A charming late 19th/early 20th-century English coastal landscape depicting Appledore Harbour, Devon, in the style of Henry Bowser Wimbush (1858–1943).

This attractive oil painting captures the picturesque harbour at Appledore, with traditional Devon buildings overlooking the water, small sailing boats and fishing vessels, and figures along the shoreline. The calm blue-green water and softly atmospheric sky create a particularly appealing coastal scene.

The work is described as English School, after Henry Bowser Wimbush (1858–1943). It is signed with initials lower left, although the signature is partially obscured by the frame.
