A charming 19th-century Victorian School oil painting depicting a young girl holding a large wicker basket filled with oranges.

The young girl is portrayed standing against a rustic, atmospheric background, dressed in dark clothing with a light blue-and-white bodice or shawl. Her gentle expression and the warm orange tones of the fruit create an appealing contrast against the darker surroundings.
