Shirley Carnt b.1937 Winter Lake Scene Oil on Canvas Boat Ducks Signed

A charming original oil on canvas by British artist Shirley Carnt (b. 1937), depicting a tranquil winter landscape with a moored boat on a lake, ducks in flight, bare trees and distant buildings beneath a softly glowing winter sunset.

The painting has a lovely atmospheric quality, with muted winter tones of blue, grey, ochre and warm golden light. The peaceful composition and traditional landscape subject make this an attractive decorative work suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.

The painting is presented in an ornate vintage gilt and green painted frame.

The work appears to be signed lower left.

The painting is in good original condition, with some signs of age consistent with its period. The ornate frame has age-related wear, surface marks and losses to the gilt finish, adding to its vintage character. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.

The painting is supplied in its existing original-style frame.
