Hauling Boats Ashore

A charming 20th-century oil painting on canvas depicting a tranquil riverside landscape, with small boats being hauled ashore beside the water. The scene features a figure near the boats, a gently winding country path, trees and buildings in the distance beneath a beautifully atmospheric, cloud-filled sky.

The painting has a particularly attractive antique-style gilt decorative frame, with ornate foliate and scroll decoration that complements the traditional landscape subject beautifully.

A lovely decorative example of 20th-century landscape painting, suitable for both traditional and country-style interiors.
