Description
A finely observed watercolour depicting a young fisher boy seated on a low harbour wall at Boulogne, with a wicker basket, fishing equipment and harbour architecture behind him. The work is signed A. Delacroix lower right. The reverse bears a handwritten note identifying Auguste Delacroix (1809–1868) and describing the subject as a young boy sitting on a low harbour wall at Boulogne. Presented mounted, framed and glazed.
